Yesterday, our brand evolved to become Ceffu, a name inspired by SAFU (Secure Asset Funds for Users). This $1-billion emergency insurance fund was first established by Binance in 2018 by committing a percentage of trading fees towards growing the fund to a sizable amount that can safeguard user assets in extreme circumstances. While our name changes, our institutional clients will continue to benefit from this insurance coverage, as well as our third-party specie insurance underwritten by the Arch Syndicate 2012 at Lloyd’s of London. This insurance covers assets in segregated cold storage against physical loss, damage, theft, or internal collusion.

A lot of thought goes into renaming a brand. Ours speaks to our ongoing commitment to delivering the most robust digital asset management experience by bringing to market innovative custody and liquidity solutions built with top-grade security at their core. This mission has spearheaded the fast development of our core cold storage solution, Qualified Wallet, through which we built several key products that our institutional clients use to store, manage, and utilize their digital assets efficiently and with peace of mind. 

This mission has also led to obtaining our ISO 27001 and 27701 certifications, as well as our SOC 2 Type 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 attestations within the same year, affirming our dedication to information security and privacy protection.
