A Year of Institutional Security – 2022 in Review
Since launching just over a year ago, our teams have kept busy to achieve numerous milestones and establish our custody platform as a qualified, regulated, compliant environment wherein institutions can store, manage, and utilize their digital assets securely and efficiently. As we look ahead to a new year, our commitment to offering best-in-class security and privacy protection remains our utmost priority.
Here’s a look at some of our key highlights from the past year that have carved a secure path to supporting both existing and new institutional clients in safeguarding their assets in the coming year.
We established Qualified Wallet as our institutional cold storage solution
Ceffu operates a separate, dedicated platform with segregated account and wallet systems. Through our Qualified Wallet, clients have their own dedicated on-chain wallet addresses, which contain only their own funds. This proof can be verified directly on the blockchain, as clients have full visibility that the only movements coming in and out of their wallet belong to them.
Committed to platform security and data protection
As a qualified institutional custodian, our priority is to grow a safe and reliable platform that institutional clients can entrust with the security of their assets, as well as their data. Receiving our ISO 27001 & 27701 certifications, as well as our SOC 2 Type 1 & Type 2 attestations, affirmed this priority as we continue to provide and maintain the highest level of security and operational compliance.
Tap into Binance’s deep liquidity securely with Mirror
Earlier this year we soft-launched Mirror, a core product of our Qualified Wallet solution. Mirror allows institutions to access trading and investment products within the Binance ecosystem while their assets remain secure off-exchange in the client’s segregated, insured cold storage solution on Ceffu.
Through Mirror, institutions lock a specified amount of their Qualified Wallet balance and mirror it onto their Binance Exchange account with a 1:1 available balance. Their assets never leave their cold wallet and can be settled at any time from their Binance Exchange or Ceffu accounts directly in the Ceffu web and mobile app.
Earn yield on supported assets held under cold storage
Our first staking partnership with Injective allows Ceffu clients to stake their $INJ tokens directly from their Qualified Wallet. $INJ is the first token to be supported for staking on Ceffu, with more to follow.
We received our institutional custody license in Abu Dhabi
We have received a Financial Services Permission (FSP) from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). Clients within the ADGM can now benefit from our segregated cold storage solution.

We launched our institutional custody services in Singapore
Institutional clients operating out of Singapore that were previously served by Bifinity UAB are now served by Ceffu. In due course, Ceffu will apply for a license with the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Learn more about this change >>
